BLAZE! is a free novelty mobile game developed by Shadooya that offers a unique way to connect with your loved ones. The application scans your fingerprint and that of one of your friends or family members and calculates how strong the love is between you.

Like other novelty apps, such as Fingerprint Lock Screen Prank and Firefly Fingerprint Lock Screen for Prank, BLAZE! utilizes a scan of your fingerprint to set the game in motion. It’s all for fun, though, as the results don’t have any true bearing on your relationships.

Basic mechanics

BLAZE! is a simple application wrapped in a package that suggests more. From the home screen, you’re first required to scan your fingerprint. Where on your device to place your finger will depend on your model. Next, you’ll need a fingerprint scan of someone you love.

Once both fingerprints are scanned, the app seemingly calculates the strength of the bond between you and the other person and displays the results. Don’t be fooled, though – this is purely for fun. The results don’t truly indicate how much or little you love one another.

Deceptively rudimentary

Before downloading and installing BLAZE!, you’ll want to read the fine print. While it suggests that the game is free to play, it’s on a limited trial basis. After a brief testing period, it will require a high monthly or annual subscription fee to use, which suggests the app has more functionality than it really does.

What it is, however, is simply a one-note novelty prank game that doesn’t have much replay value outside of the first few uses. Though it has a cute premise, and the scanning gives the game some level of legitimacy to unsuspecting targets, it’s very rudimentary.
